Tamiya Sanding Cloth 3000

The final sanding step before the shine. Tamiya's ultra-fine 3000-grit cloth leaves a surface so smooth it's practically ready to buff, ironing out the last faint scratches from earlier grits. The flexible cloth backing conforms to curves and corners, and it sands wet or dry on plastic, light metals and wood.

Finish here and a polishing compound will bring up a proper mirror shine.

The last stop before the buff. Follow the 2000 grit cloth and finish with polishing compound sponges.
