Garden wildlife becomes unexpectedly criminal in this illustrated slug and snail card. The joke explains that slugs are simply snails that have been mugged for their shells, giving a familiar little creature a backstory nobody asked for but everybody now has to consider.

It is a funny all-occasion card for gardeners, animal lovers and fans of very silly wordplay. Use it for a birthday, a thank you, a quick hello or any moment improved by an oddly specific mollusc joke. The inside is blank, so there is plenty of room for your own message, gardening advice or a firm warning to local snails.

Measuring approximately 148 × 148mm, the square card is printed on 350gsm white silk cardstock and paired with a kraft envelope. Richard Darani illustrated the suspicious garden characters, and the card is printed in the UK. Give it to someone who appreciates humour at a suitably slow pace.
