Tyranids: Neurogaunts

Neurogaunts are the Hive Mind's relay runners — small, wiry horrors that scuttle at the heels of a synapse creature and extend its reach across the battlefield, throwing themselves screen-first at anything that gets too close. They're a cheap, useful support unit, and being push-fit they clip together in minutes with no glue, so they're a doddle to get table-ready.

How they play

• Extends the Synapse range of nearby Tyranid units, keeping more of the swarm in control for longer
• A cheap screening unit that punches above its points cost when it comes to holding ground

Assembles without glue, so you can go from box to painting desk in one sitting — a tidy little unit that does real work for a small points cost.
