Tyranids: Gargoyles

Gargoyles are the winged vanguard of the swarm — membranous horrors that blot out the sky, spit fleshborer fire and herald the doom crawling up behind them. On the table they're a fast, cheap, board-covering nuisance that forces your opponent to deal with them before the big beasts arrive. A brood of ten looks fantastic mid-swoop and gives any Hive Fleet some much-needed speed.

Paint them as a screaming aerial tide and you've a genuinely striking unit that plays as nasty as it looks.

Supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue and paints sold separately. Back them with a ground swarm of Hormagaunts and paint the flock with Citadel Colour.
