Tamiya Sanding Sponge Sheet 1000

A sponge-backed sander that reaches where flat sheets can't. The flexible foam base lets this 1000-grit sheet mould to curves and dip into hard-to-reach corners, knocking back seams and mould lines on plastic, wood and metal alike.

Best for

• Final smoothing on curved or contoured surfaces
• Wet sanding for an even finer finish
• Cutting down to whatever size a job needs, with a hobby knife

The sponge does the thinking for you, flexing into every contour as you work instead of skating over the high points.

1000 grit — for the final smoothing stage. Team it with coarser grits earlier in the process, all available in our scale modelling range.
