Saturnino Verdejo 2021

Some of the very best expressions of the Verdejo grape variety in Rueda, Spain come from the town of 'La Seca' along 'the Golden Mile.' This is a wine made to honour local pharmacist Saturnino who founded La Seca Wine Cooperative and whose vision, knowledge and motivation lay the foundation for the wealth of fine Verdejo wines that we see today.

Crisp and fruity with aromas of green apple and melon. Light bodied with beautiful freshness on the palate and lively and zesty flavours of white peach and lime with a subtle herbal finish. Made using 100% Verdejo grapes, Saturnino Cantapiedra Rueda Verdejo is a fruity, fresh white wine with delicate gooseberry and elderflower aromas, and notes of green apples, peaches and apricots throughout the palate.
