Intense ruby red colour. The nose shows lively fruity hints of black cherries, cherries and blackberries, followed by hints of wild undergrowth and bark. The finish is liquorice root, sweet spices and the classic black pepper. Easy-drinking, fresh and savoury on the palate. Pulpy and satisfying sip, with a very velvety tannic texture. Good persistence.

Produced from Negroamaro grapes, handpicked in early September.

Alcoholic fermentation at temperatures that did not exceed 25°C (77°F), then a short aging in stainless steel tank before bottling.
