Made-to-Measure Sink Skirt

Please note: this listing is for the making of your sink skirt only. You will need to purchase your own fabric — or upcycle fabric you already have — and send it to me at your own cost.

These made-to-measure sink skirts are individually handmade to fit your space. They’re a lovely way to soften a kitchen, bathroom or utility room while hiding exposed pipework, cleaning products or storage underneath your sink.

Your bespoke sink skirt will arrive with Velcro attached along the top of the fabric, together with the corresponding adhesive Velcro cut to size. Simply peel and stick the adhesive strip around the top of your sink and attach the curtain. Please see the listing images for an example.

Once you have placed your order, you’ll receive an email with instructions for sending your fabric to me. I’ll then make your sink skirt / under-sink curtain to your measurements and send the finished piece back to you.

Measuring: simply measure the width around the front of your sink and the drop from the fixing point to the floor, then enter these measurements in the boxes above.

How much fabric do I need?

For a pretty, gathered finish, I recommend approximately 1.5–2 times the width of the area you’re covering. For example, if the front of your sink measures 80cm, you’ll want approximately 120–160cm of fabric width.

This style can also work beautifully as a vanity curtain, bathroom sink skirt or kitchen under-sink curtain, particularly if you prefer a softer alternative to cupboard doors.
