Retro Cassette Birthday Card

Ageing is much easier when you can rebrand it as retro. Featuring a cheerful illustrated cassette and the message “I’m Not Old, I’m Retro”, this birthday card rewinds the years with plenty of nostalgic charm and absolutely no apology for the tape-based joke.

It is made for friends, partners, siblings and relatives who remember mixtapes, pencil-assisted rewinding and waiting patiently for a favourite song to play on the radio. The cute cassette keeps the age joke affectionate, whether the birthday in question is a fortieth, fiftieth or another vintage year entirely. Inside, the card is blank for birthday wishes, treasured memories or a carefully curated track listing.

The square card measures approximately 148 × 148mm and is printed on 350gsm white silk cardstock. A kraft envelope is included for a journey that should prove considerably quicker than making a mixtape.
