In this colourway of Dorota Stumpf's Criterion Theatre design, the gilded ceiling rose and garlands of the Piccadilly Circus theatre sit on a rich aubergine ground, with a gold rolled edge. The Criterion, opened in 1874, keeps much of its Victorian interior, and the print captures its intimate, jewel-box character. It is printed on 100% silk and measures 40cm by 40cm.
