The story behind Gypsy Water

Ben Gorham conceived Gypsy Water as a homage to the romantic, nomadic life of the Romani people of Europe — woodsmoke, pine forests, leather, and the warmth of vanilla and amber from a fire at night. The composition is deliberately quiet: pine needles and incense in the heart bring meditative outdoor character, while the sandalwood-vanilla-amber base gives it the soft, second-skin warmth that has become a Byredo trademark.
