Wash for Wood brings out the grain and depth in any timber surface — an enamel wash that flows into the cut lines and texture of decks, crates, barrels and stowage to turn flat brown paint into convincingly aged wood.

Best for

• Defining grain and planking on decks and crates
• Adding shadow to barrels, boxes and wooden stowage
• Aging figure bases and terrain timber

Flow it over a gloss or satin coat, let it settle into the grain, then lift the excess so the raised wood stays lighter. Layer it for deeper, older, more weathered timber.
