AK Interactive - the Inks - Brown Black (AK16011)

Brown Black is the warm alternative to a flat black wash — transparent enough to layer up gradually, so panel lines and recesses deepen without ever looking like you've dunked the model in ink. It's one of the most useful bottles in AK's The Inks range for exactly that reason.

Best for

• Panel line washes and recess shading on armour, vehicles and aircraft
• Glazing over brown or earth-tone base coats for warm depth
• Brush or airbrush application — thin with AK's ink thinner for spraying

Build it up in thin coats and you get soft, natural-looking shadow rather than a hard black outline.
