Desert Sand is part of AK's Terrains range — a ready-to-use coloured texture paste for one-step groundwork. A slightly cooler, paler sand than the Sandy Desert tone, it's perfect for lighter deserts, dry riverbeds and sun-bleached arid ground.

Best for

• Pale, cool desert sand groundwork

• Large diorama groundwork — a generous 250ml pot

Spread it on with a spatula or old brush, build the contours, and leave to cure hard. A pale drybrush and pigment dusting give it that baked, arid finish.
