For coastal miniature basing, Beach Sand from AK's Terrains range is a ready-to-use coloured texture paste for one-step groundwork — its fine, pale golden grain is made for shorelines, dunes and coastal dioramas straight from the pot.

Spread it on with a spatula or old brush, keeping it smoother for a beach or rippled for dunes, and leave to cure. Pair it with water effects at the tideline for a full shoreline.
