Paint a Panther one flat shade of Dunkelgelb and it reads as a toy; real armour catches light unevenly across every panel. This four-bottle modulation set gives you a proper tonal ladder — shadow, base, light and a pastel highlight — built specifically around late-war German dark yellow.

Blend between the four and you get depth and contrast built in before a drop of pigment or wash goes anywhere near the model — weathering has something to work with rather than starting from flat.
