AK Interactive's Dust Effects is the fast route to that just-off-the-road look — a ready-mixed enamel effect that settles a convincing layer of dry, warm dust exactly where it gathers in real life. Flow it into recesses, around running gear and along horizontal surfaces, let it grab, then blend back with a touch of thinner for as much or as little grime as you fancy.

Best for

• Dusting lower hulls, tracks and road wheels on armour and vehicles
• Building grime into panel lines, bolt heads and recesses
• Warm, earthy tones on bases, ruins and terrain

Because it's enamel-based it stays workable long after it's on the model — knock it back with enamel thinner or white spirit for streaks, fades and pin washes, or layer it up for heavy neglect. A little goes a long way, so the 35ml jar lasts.
