Dark Rust Deposit is the deepest tone in the corrosion range — a thicker, pigment-loaded enamel for old, established rust with rich brown-red body. It's what you reach for on long-abandoned metal, deep pitting and the darkest heart of a rusted surface.

Best for

• Old, deep rust on wrecks, drums and abandoned kit
• Dark pitting and shadow within rusted areas
• The base layer under lighter, brighter rust tones

Stipple it on as the foundation of a rust build-up, then work lighter deposits over the top for realistic tonal progression. Restraint at the edges keeps it believable.
