Dark & Dry Crackle Effects is the darker-toned self-cracking medium — apply it and it splits as it dries into a realistic crack network, in a richer brown for damp-then-dried mud and darker parched ground. All the cracked texture, in a deeper earthy tone.

Best for

• Darker cracked, dried mud on bases and dioramas
• Parched brown earth and dried riverbeds
• One-step cracked texture with an earthy tone

Brush it on at your chosen thickness — thicker for bigger cracks — and leave undisturbed as it dries. Pigments and a light drybrush lift the cracked surface once cured.
