Red-primer hulls look brilliant on the table right up until they look brand new — the Brown Streaking Grime for Red Hulls (AK304) fixes that in one sitting. This 35ml enamel is mixed specifically to drag believable dirt and rust-run down a red-oxide hull, though it works just as well over tank hulls and other red-primed surfaces in your fleet or motor pool.
Best for
- Streaking dirt and grime down red-primer ship hulls
- Run marks and weathering on tank hulls and other red surfaces
- Controlled, repeatable streaking — reapply until it looks right
Paint the streak, give it ten minutes to set, then drag a white-spirit-loaded flat brush down through it — the hard edge softens into a natural, weather-beaten smear that looks like years of grime, not a paint job.
Enamel, so it plays nicely over acrylic basecoats. Pairs with the rest of our enamel paints range, or a wash from the weathering range for extra grime.
