Tenebrous Grey is a very dark, cool near-black grey — the deepest grey shadow tone, superb for the darkest recesses and dark camo without the flatness of pure black. AK's high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic lays it down matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.

Best for

• Deepest grey shadows and recesses
• Very dark camo and detail
• A softer alternative to black for shading

Use it in the darkest recesses or as a shade beneath greys. Thin it for airbrush work; its matt finish takes washes cleanly.
