Smoke Black is a soft, slightly warm black that avoids the dead flatness of a pure black — far more natural for shadows, tyres and dark detail. AK's high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic lays it down matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.

Best for

• Natural-looking shadows and deepest recesses
• Rubber, tyres and soft black detail
• Shading colours without the harshness of true black
