Rubber Black is a soft, dark grey-black — the perfect scale tone for tyres, tracks and rubber, which read too flat in pure black. AK's high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic lays it down matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.

Base it smooth, then drybrush a lighter grey to lift the tread and worn edges. Thin it for airbrush work; its matt finish takes dust and pigment weathering a treat.
