Oily Steel is a dark, gunmetal-toned steel metallic in AK's 3rd Generation acrylic — finely-milled for a smooth metal finish by brush or airbrush. Perfect for oiled weapons, worn dark metal and mechanical shadow.

Best for

• Oiled weapons and gun metal
• Worn, dark mechanical detail
• Shadow metal in recesses

Shake it well, apply over a dark base, and pick out wear edges with brighter silver or steel. Thin it a touch for airbrush work; takes washes cleanly.
