Light Rust is a pale, warm orange — the bright top-note of a rust effect, the fresh oxidisation that catches the light on corroded metal. AK's high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic lays it down matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.

Best for

• Bright, fresh rust highlights on metal
• The lightest layer over medium and dark rust
• Warm orange detail and streaks

Stipple it sparingly over medium rust to pick out the freshest corrosion. Thin it for airbrush work; its matt finish takes rust washes and pigments cleanly.
