AK Interactive 3rd Gen Acrylic - Hull Red 17ml (AK11108)

Hull Red is the dark, muted red-brown of ship hull anti-fouling paint — the classic below-the-waterline tone, and a useful red-oxide primer colour. AK's high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic lays it down matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.

Best for

• Ship hull anti-fouling below the waterline
• Red-oxide primer and undercoats
• Dark, earthy red-brown detail

Base it smooth on hulls, then modulate and weather with lighter reds and rust. Thin it for airbrush work; its matt finish takes washes and pigments a treat.
