AK Interactive 3rd Gen Acrylic - Dark Rust 17ml (AK11107)

Dark Rust is a deep, brown-red corrosion tone — the shadowed base of any rust effect and the colour of old, established oxidisation. AK's high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic lays it down matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.

Best for

• The dark base layer of a rust build-up
• Deep, old corrosion on wrecks and metal
• Shadowed rust in recesses and pitting

Lay it down as the foundation, then build medium and light rust over the top for realistic progression. Thin it for airbrush work; its matt finish takes washes and pigments cleanly.
