Blood Red is a deep, dark, slightly cool red — for fresh blood, gore and the darkest reds. AK's high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic lays it down matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.

Best for

• Fresh blood and gore effects
• Dark red cloth and detail
• Shadow tone under brighter reds

Use it as a shade beneath brighter reds, or gloss-glaze it in recesses for wet blood. Thin it for airbrush work; its matt finish takes glazes and washes cleanly.
