Black Red is a very dark, near-black red — the deepest red shadow tone, ideal for the darkest recesses of red cloth and dried, old blood. AK's high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic lays it down matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.

• Deepest shadows in red cloth and robes
• Dried, old blood and gore
• Shadow base beneath dark reds

Use it in the darkest recesses, then build reds up over the top. Thin it for airbrush work; its matt finish takes glazes and washes cleanly.
