Size 2 is the comfortable middle of the round range — enough belly to keep a wet edge while layering, still fine enough at the tip to place a highlight where you want it. It's the size that takes over once fiddly detail work is done and you need to move a bit faster.

Best for

• Layering highlights across armour panels and weapons
• Small-area basecoating — helmets, packs, shields
• General detail work when a 0 feels too slow

The size you'll actually reach for most sessions, once the eyes and edges are already done.
