It's a vivid, slightly green-shifted cyan that lifts flat blue or teal schemes into something with real chromatic snap, and it stands up just as well as a standalone accent on turquoise armour, banners or alien hide. Work it thin as a glaze and it barely nudges the base colour; build it up in layers and it turns into a proper eye-catching highlight. Either way, it keeps a cool scheme looking alive instead of flat.
