Vallejo Model Color - Brown Rose

Brown Rose is a soft, dusky pink-brown that's far more useful than it sounds — think faded fabric, weathered leather, pale flesh shadows and that muted rosy tone that stops a mini looking too clean. One of the subtler characters in Vallejo's Model Color range, and a handy one to have on the palette.

Best for

• Smooth, self-levelling coats with minimal brushstrokes
• Superb coverage on plastic, resin and metal
• Mixes freely with the rest of the Model Color range

It's a natural mixing colour too — a drop knocks the harshness off brighter reds and pinks and nudges flesh tones somewhere more believable.

The muted tone that makes the brighter ones behave. Pair it with a warm highlight and a fine detail brush.
