Sterling Silver Blue Octagonal Cloisonne Cufflinks

An intricate octagonal design in two shades of blue vitreous enamel, created using cloisonné: fine metal wire forms small cells across the surface, each filled with enamel and fired until it fuses to glass. The result has the depth and clarity of stained glass in miniature.

Each pair is made by hand in England from sterling silver and hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office.
