Enter a beautifully dark world of gothic horror bullet-hell action with Deathsmiles I & II for PlayStation 4. Developed by the legendary arcade shooter masters at Cave, this definitive physical compilation brings the ultimate side-scrolling manic shmup experience to modern displays. Take control of the magical angels of Gilverado—including fan-favorites Windia, Casper, and Follett—to fight back waves of demonic monsters in highly stylized, fast-paced bullet storms.
The gameplay delivers an incredibly technical combat loop featuring unique dual-direction firing layouts and customizable target familiars. Collect dropped items to boost your counter gauge, then activate Fever Mode to rack up massive high-score multipliers. This complete package includes multiple game versions: the original Deathsmiles Arcade and MBL (Mega Black Label) editions, the fully polygonal sequel Deathsmiles IIX, plus a robust modern training mode suite and online leaderboards.
